Again, I found some great inspirations at Geffen Contemporary. Since it's summer time now, african influences, highlight colors, floral patterns, colorful dresses are out. Trend is seen through art!

Find Art & Fashion at Museum - Moca
Last week when I went to MOCA, I found that there were a lot of things around that are related to fashion. Or, actually when I see those — art, architecture, and plants, I thought about fashion elements, like trends, patterns, and structure. It's amazing to find out fashion really comes from everyday life.

2012 Fashion Symposium
Although it was a little off of my expectation, to be honest, I think it was still a great experience to see what fashion symposium was all about. There were a few sections, one was for students to see other students' project, how others do their works, and also for students to get in touch with fashion vendors directly.
The other fun part was the denim deconstruction which 3 people out of each school got to deconstruct denim pants and turn those into new garments in 30 mins.
And, of course the main part of the event — student fashion show.
